Get-A-Head Taxidermy

Geography:
Located on Alachua County side of the Alachua/Marion County line, near the town of Lawless.

Description:
Get-A-Head Taxidermy is built into a defunct, old-school Florida motel.  The shop itself takes up the center section of the old motel, the lobby and administrative offices plus one of the former rooms on either side.  On the left side of the shop are four other formerly motel rooms.  One belongs to Earl, one to Bean, one is permanently set up for their mama, and the other is a guest room.

To the right side of the shop are nine more rooms which Earl and Bean are slowly, very slowly renovating.  The grand plan is to rent the nine rooms to hunters and fishermen who might need the services of taxidermist.

Muddy Minds – Spirits & Beer

Description:
Sandwiched between an everything-you-need fisherman’s store and a bail bonds business, Muddy Minds does a bustling trade, selling hard liquor and mostly domestic beer.

Buck & Boar Game Club

Located in the heart of Putnam County near the town of Palatka.

Description:

More than a thousand acres fenced in a ten-foot-tall woven wire fence.  A hunter and fisherman Shangri-La containing a one-hundred acre lake and a dozen smaller ones.  The Game Club is also stocked with fed deer, antelope, elk and a small herd of buffalo.

Located where four counties collide: Alachua, Bradford, Clay and Putnam — in the city of Lawless, the heart of the Cable Counties.

Description:
A former grain warehouse with a gas-station front.  A craft-beer brewery specializing in unique beers made from locally grown elements.

Six nights a week the brewery hosts live music from southern rock, classic rock and country bands.

The brewery comes complete with a bar dog, Maximum-Ready-Set-Go, Max to pretty country women and right-minded country boys.

The Construction Site

Located in Levy County, near the four corners, and on the backside of a country moon.

Description:
The Construction Site is a whorehouse.  It’s country, mean, and not a place for romance.  When one goes looking for the Valley of Death fearing no evil, one visits The Construction Site.

The Construction Site isn’t able to advertise its true intent, since prostitution is illegal in all parts of the state.  Nevertheless, everyone knows the real business being conducted is the selling of flesh.
